Building Environmental System Training (BEST)
This program is designed to train technical staff or technicians in the operation & maintenance of today's complex buildings. BEST adheres to the fundamental premise that "the building is a system" in which heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, ventilation, electrical power, lighting, water and air supply are not separate isolated courses but are connected and interdependent. We cover the knowledge required to understand the functioning of all systems in industrial, commercial, office, institutional and residential buildings, with focus on sustainability, as well. The program looks at how plant and facilities can be operated and maintained more efficiently.

RADIATION SAFETY OFFICER COURSE (RSO)
Our Radiation Safety Officer Course provides technical and practical information to lay the ground for a person to be an effective radiation safety officer. It can also be relevant as general introductory training for anyone who works with radioactive materials or who may be required to be an alternate radiation safety officer.
Topics include atomic structure, properties of ionizing radiation, shielding, radiation and biological safety terms and units, biological effects of radiation exposure, radiation detection and measurement, state and federal regulations, dosimetry, emergency procedures, records/documentation and transportation regulations.
We also teach you about the radioactive wastes found in oil and gas deposits, how much radiation is in the wastes, its disposal and reuse, exposure risks and methods for properly managing these low specific-activity wastes.

GCD Petroleum Safety Training Center is an energetic young company that aims to bring a seasoned team of lecturers and technical consultants at the heart of skills development in critical safety, health and environmental knowledge. Based in Manila, Philippines, we are a consortium of brilliant minds with more than 150 years combined experience acquired worldwide to pool the best international standards and practices in the industries that we cover-oil and gas, nuclear, manufacturing and construction. We then translated them into our training approach of “understanding rather than memorizing” to develop trainee’s self-confidence and knowledge.

Upon enrolment, we issue you an HSE Passport where all your modules will be stamped and sealed upon completion. After finishing the required modules for each industry certification, you will be issued an HSE Passport Card and Certificate of Competence to signify your qualification to perform duties of an HSE Practitioner in your field of choice.
Our HSE Passport Program is aimed at adding value to workers and serve as a model for HSE Certification for others to replicate. This is in response to curbing the many training hours wasted on taking the wrong courses vital to your career.
